Nicolas Taggart
Founder & CEO
Nicolas qualified from Queens University with an MSc in Construction and Project Management, his experience lies in real-estate development, overseeing the completion over 600 homes across England and N.I, and delivering successful returns for investors of the projects involved. This experience, coupled with a passion for blockchain technology led Nicolas to the vision for MAIV – to make high-yield, secure investment vehicles accessible to all.
Sáne Stewart
Co-founder
Sáne gradauated from University of Ulster with a MSc in Management & Corporate governance. Sáne had a 10 year career in technology consulting for a Big 4 consulting practice working with many large government and financial institutions across UK and Europe. Sáne has a huge passion for digital technologies and start up enterprises – he is the founder and director of two separate start up businesses across the industries of hospitality and construction. He is passionate and confident about MAIVs vision and ambition to disrupt the RE funding landscape through the power of blockchain technologies.
Alan Graham
Construction Analyst
Alan brings over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry gaining experience as a Site Engineer, Site Manager and Contracts Manager in previous roles. He is a Graduate of Queen’s University Belfast with a Degree in Civil Engineering and subsequently completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Law and Contract Administration at Trinity Dublin. Alan has proven experience in the delivery of a wide variety of construction projects including industrial, commercial, residential, leisure and educational facilities. Alan is responsible for overseeing the construction management teams to ensure that projects are delivered on programme, safely, within budget and to the highest possible standards of workmanship.
Ryan Duffy
Commercial Analyst
Ryan qualified with a BSc degree in Quantity Surveying with a 1st class honours degree from Liverpool John Moores University. Subsequently he obtained a Master of Laws qualification in Construction Law and Adjudication from Robert Gordon University. Ryan’s role includes: Producing detailed costings for use in site appraisals; Certifying and costing work completed; Liaison with independent monitoring surveyors; and, oversight and control of the financial outcomes of projects.
Mona Tiesler
Advisor
Experienced in strategy consulting, venture building/growth. Co-founded and led companies in Fintech, Edtech, and Foodtech. Mentors at leading accelerators – Brinc’s ZKAdvancer & Consensys Fellowship. Part of the Entrepreneurship Network at Oxford University. Mona holds a professional certificate in Distributed Ledger Technology and multiple certifications in Financial Services.
